PREFERRED FILE FORMATS/SPECIFICATIONS
ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS - When you supply us with a PDF
- Separated PDF
- Composite PDF
- PDF with images and fonts embedded
Additional Information
- PDF is a final page format. Although PDF files can still be
edited using Acrobat and various plug-ins if necessary, no
further adjustments should be required when a PDF file is sent
to us.
- Use PostScript Type 1 fonts and convert to Outlines if possible.
- Scan images in correct resolution (take scaling into
account). Also note that when we print we recommend 300 dpi
images. Most photos coming off of the web (Internet) have a 72
dpi resolution, which when printed usually turns out to be
blurry.
- Do not build frames using four lines - draw them using the
frame tool.
- Delete blank pages and any unnecessary elements.
- If bleeds are necessary, please define the page bleeds.
