EMAR - large format printing division for COMMERCIAL PRINTING

Our large format printing division for COMMERCIAL PRINTING produces large quantities to meet the demands of political campaigns, corporations and smaller businesses, Unions, non-profits, fine arts, and mailing services.  Utilizing large presses like 23" x 35" or 28" x 40", this equipment can handle 30,000 to over 1,000,000 pieces and most of our four color work, using what are called "parent" sheets of large paper   For example, if you are printing 150,000 "8.5 x 11" flyers with no bleeds, two sided, we would lay that out using a configuration called "8 up."  That terms means you can divide 8.5 into 35 four times and 11 into 23 two times.  Four times two is "8 up."  If you divide 8 up into 150,000 total pieces, you would only run 18,750 "23 x 35" sheets, savings hours of print time.  We would then cut the 18,750 sheets to yield 150,000 flyers.  However, to save you money and since this is 2-sided job and only wanting one set-up, we would run 4 up of each side (still 8 up) and run 37,500 sheets.  Did you get all that???  Another example, in an election cycle, we might run four 11 x 17 pieces, each one dealing with a different issue and with different copy, on the same run.  We use large format printing on large quantities, again, to save you money.
